From crisis to recovery: Tabby’s journey through Pittsburgh’s medical maze and the unwavering support that carried us forward

After 49 intense days—from June 22 to August 8—across four hospitals (Northwest, Shadyside, Presbyterian, and Montefiore), Tabby has now been moved to PAM Health Specialty Hospital of Pittsburgh, out near the airport. This marks the beginning of a new phase: recovery.

It’s going to be a journey. Inch by inch, breath by breath, we’re focused on moving forward. Today is August 9, and while it’s been a wild ride, I haven’t lost sight of what’s kept me going—your support.

Every message, prayer, visit, and moment of kindness has carried me through the chaos. Thank you for walking this road with us. We’re not at the finish line, but we’re finally facing forward.
