From Email Address to Personal Hub
The unexpected journey of Malliard.com
I didn’t set out to build a brand or even a blog. Honestly, Malliard.com started for the simplest reason: I wanted an email address that didn’t end in hotmail.com or yahoo.com.

Back then, owning your own domain felt like carving your initials into a tree—you were leaving a mark that said, I’m here.
The site shifted and grew over the years:
It hosted a series of email interviews.
It became a hub for kids’ pictures.
Then, for a while, it sat as a placeholder, waiting for its next chapter.
It grew into the first home of The Malliard Report, before I brought TheMalliardReport.com to life in 2017.
And now? Malliard.com has come full circle. Today, it’s my personal hub—a place to share thoughts, reflections, and the road I’m still walking.
That’s why the photo with Jason Bay feels fitting. He represented the Pirates in the 2006 All-Star Game in Pittsburgh—a moment that reminded fans that even in tough seasons, hope and pride could shine through. In a way, Malliard.com has been my own version of that—sometimes quiet, sometimes on hold, sometimes surprising, but always part of my story.
It’s not flashy. It’s not perfect. But it’s honest. And that’s all I ever wanted from it in the first place.
